Dillon Eustace advises Rathbones on Central Bank MiFID authorisation
Dillon Eustace is delighted to have advised Rathbones on securing a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland, supporting its plans to expand its presence in the EU.
The authorisation will allow Rathbones, through its Dublin-based European entity, Rathbones Ireland, to serve new and existing clients in Ireland and across the EU. It represents an important step in strengthening the Group’s international capabilities and supporting its long-term growth ambitions.
The Dillon Eustace team was led by Keith Waine (Partner, Financial Regulation) and included Brian McGlone (Solicitor, Financial Regulation), Karen Jennings (Of Counsel, Financial Regulation), David Kavanagh (Partner, Employment) and David Lawless (Consultant, Tax).
If you are considering Ireland as a location from which to establish or grow your business, please contact Keith Waine to discuss the authorisation process and how best to prepare.
