Donnacha O’Connor is Managing Partner and Partner in the Asset Management and Investment Funds and Financial Regulations teams. He specialises in advice on regulatory and structural issues relating to the establishment and management of all types of investment fund structures and financial services firms in Ireland.
Donnacha has over 25 years’ experience in structuring, establishing and advising Irish regulated investment funds and financial services firms and advising foreign investment firms providing services in Ireland. He regularly establishes and advises long-only, structured and alternative UCITS, hedge funds, lending funds, feeder funds, funds of funds, funds designed for Treaty access and real estate funds. He has established and advises significant numbers of fund managers, investment managers, distributors, proprietary trading firms, market makers, retail on-line brokerage firms and MTFs.
