Derbhil O'Riordan is a partner in the Dublin Asset Management and Investment Funds team, having previously practised as a partner in the Cayman team. A specialised advisor to both private structures and UCITS. Derbhil advises private equity and real estate funds as well as UCITS on bespoke structures for sophisticated investors.

Having practiced for over 20 years in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands, Derbhil has particular experience in cross-jurisdictional structures, advising private market and institutional investment managers in establishing and authorising Irish fund structures investing in private markets, real estate, and other asset classes particularly in credit, equity and derivative markets. Derbhil has extensive experience in Irish regulated funds and the Central Bank of Ireland and advises on ongoing regulatory developments in Ireland and the European Union including developments in SFDR and ESG regulation, as well as key regulatory developments as they arise locally, and on a pan-European basis.
