Dillon Eustace advises Conaty Catering
Dillon Eustace are delighted to have advised Cathal Conaty and the team at Conaty Catering on the acquisition of wholesaler Irish Distributors Limited. The deal marks part of the Conaty Catering’s growth plans that could see business revenues hit over €50m this year.
Established in 1970, Conaty Food and Catering Supplies employs over 200 staff, supplying several five-star hotels such as Adare Manor, Carton House and the K Club.
The Dillon Eustace team was led by Mark Thorne (Partner, Banking and Capital Markets) and Philip Lea (Partner, Corporate and M&A) with support from David Lawless (Head of Tax), Martin Colman (Partner, Real Estate) and Jacinta O’Sullivan (Associate, Corporate and M&A). Corporate finance for the purchasers was provided by Michael Neary and Stuart Mellon of Grant Thornton.
