We represent clients in contentious insurance disputes in all court jurisdictions, with particular expertise in alternative dispute resolution forums, such as mediations and arbitrations. Relevant Experience

• Advising an insurer in respect of recovery following a significant flooding event.

• Acting in the defence of professional negligence proceedings taken against top tier accountancy firms.

• Representing a large insurance company in respect of a major product liability claim involving allegedly defective cranes.

• Acting for Motor Insurers Bureau of Ireland (MIBI) in the landmark Setanta Insurance case, which set legal precedence with major consequence for all Irish motor insurers in terms of  the collective underwriting of claims from insolvent insurers.

• Acting for the insurers of the Bar Council in the successful defence of a substantial claim for damages brought by a practising barrister.
