Our Firm

Formed in 1992 by four young partners, Dillon Eustace was at first a scrappy start-up competing with large, well-established Irish law firms. We quickly grew a sizeable market share in legal work arising from the nascent Irish International Financial Services Centre while our specialist litigation and real estate practices thrived.

Client demand saw the Firm expand its practice areas and open a number of international offices. We now practice in nine principal areas: Asset Management and Investment Funds, Banking & Capital Markets, Corporate & M&A, Employment, Financial Regulation, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, Restructuring and Insolvency and Taxation, with offices in Dublin, Cayman Islands, New York and Tokyo.

International Reach

Each of our practice areas has a strong international focus, and many of our clients are either based outside of Ireland or have a significant international focus themselves.

We are frequently retained to coordinate our clients’ international projects in matters often involving complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issues. Unlike some other firms, we are not limited to using our own office in each jurisdiction. We have a network of leading foreign law firms with which we have partnered, in some cases, for decades, from which we can pick and choose legal teams to suit the matter, the client and the budget.
